Is there a dress code?
Friday's welcome event attire will be "elevated casual". We’d love for you to wear something a bit dressier than casual, but not too formal. For Women: A midi dress, jumpsuit, or dressy top with trousers or a skirt. For Men: A button-down or polo with chinos or dress pants. A blazer or tie is optional. If you’re arriving later in the day, no need to stress—casual travel attire is absolutely welcome. Just come ready to relax, unwind, and celebrate!
Saturday’s events will be a bit more dressy—please plan for formal attire. For Women: Floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or sophisticated dressy separates. For Men: A dark suit and tie. The reception will be held outdoors on grass, so we recommend choosing shoes that are lawn-friendly. Also, it may get a little chilly Saturday night, so we recommend bringing a jacket.

Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?
Free parking is available in the main church parking lot that can be accessed from S. Broadway St. Metered parking is available along W. State St. adjacent to the church and elsewhere in Downtown Akron. Meters are free after 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
There is free provided parking at Stan Hywet. Please go through the front gates and follow the driveway all the way to the back, past the carriage house on the right, to arrive at the parking lot.
Are kids allowed?
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to host an adults-only wedding to allow everyone to fully enjoy the celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
